Dermal Filler Treatment
The primary ingredient in Dermal fillers is Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and is the main substance that gives your skin structure and is responsible for volume and hydration.
As people age they start to notice a loss of volume in the mid and lower face. This becomes evident as structural support from bone, muscles and fat pads change with time. Dermal fillers can be used to correct and restore areas of concerns such as smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles or adding volume to lips. Dermal fillers can last between 6-18 months. There are various factors that contribute to the length the treatment can last, including site of injection, the product used, and lifestyle choices.
Nasolabial folds
These are creases in your skin from the side of your nose to the corners of your mouth. They can be an early and very noticeable sign of ageing due to loss of collagen and elastin. They can also be genetic, or caused by sun damage, smoking and weight gain or loss. Dermal fillers can be very effective in filling these creases, plumping the area, and resolving volume and fullness.
Book NowMarionette lines
These are creases in your skin at the corners of your mouth and run down to your chin. These will appear naturally with age due to loss of elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid. These can also be genetic, or caused sun damage, diet and stress. Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid which can contribute to a more youthful appearance.
